Family-owned · NSW registered NDIS provider

Support from people who've actually done this work.

Quinbrace Care is a family-owned NDIS provider across New South Wales, built by five family members with over five years each on the frontline of disability support. We deliver Supported Independent Living, Support Coordination and Plan Management — the way we'd want it done for our own family.

Built by five family members, for families like yours

Quinbrace Care was founded by five family members who between them have spent more than five years each working directly in the NDIS sector — as support workers, coordinators, and in plan and financial administration. We started this business because we kept seeing the same gap: participants who needed consistency and trust, not a rotating cast of unfamiliar faces.

Where the name comes from: “Quin” for the five of us who founded this business, and “brace” — to support, and to embrace. That's the whole idea: five people, bracing together, so the people we support don't have to do it alone.

Family, not a franchise

You'll deal with people who own this business, not a call centre reading from a script.

Real sector experience

Every founder has years of hands-on NDIS work behind them, not just management theory.

Your choice, always

You direct your own support and can change what you receive, and from whom, at any time.

Straightforward, honest

Clear service agreements, clear costs, no surprises buried in fine print.

The same familiar faces

We roster for consistency wherever we can, because trust takes more than one visit to build.

What we do

Three registered service lines, and the everyday supports delivered within them — so the people supporting your daily life and the people managing your plan are never a mystery to each other.

Supported Independent Living

A home, run around you

Support for daily life in shared or individual accommodation, from a few hours a week to overnight and 24/7 staffed care. We match staffing and routines to how you actually want to live, not a one-size house rule.

Support Coordination

Someone who actually explains your plan

We help you understand what your NDIS plan actually funds, connect you with the right providers, and build your own confidence to manage more of it yourself over time, if that's what you want.

Common questions

A few things people usually ask before getting in touch.

What is the NDIS?+

The National Disability Insurance Scheme is an Australian Government program that funds supports for people under 65 with a permanent, significant disability, so they can build skills and independence and take part in everyday life.

Am I eligible?+

Broadly, you need to be under 65, an Australian citizen or permanent resident (or hold a Protected Special Category Visa), and have a permanent, significant disability that affects your everyday activities. The NDIA makes the final call — we're happy to talk through your situation either way.

Can I choose my own provider?+

Yes — choice and control is central to how the NDIS works. Nothing locks you into any one provider, including us, and you can change providers at any time.

Will NDIS supports affect my other payments?+

NDIS funding is designed to sit alongside other government payments, like the Disability Support Pension or Carer Payment, rather than replace them.

How do I switch to Quinbrace Care from another provider?+

Get in touch and we'll handle the handover conversation with your current provider and your Support Coordinator, if you have one. Your NDIS plan doesn't need to change — just who's delivering the support.

What does Plan Management actually cost me?+

Nothing out of pocket. The NDIA funds a separate Plan Management budget in eligible plans specifically to cover this, so it doesn't come out of your other supports.

How it works with us

From the first phone call to your first day of support — here's what actually happens.

1

Reach out

Call, email, or send a referral. Tell us a little about what kind of support is needed — there's no wrong way to start this conversation.

2

We listen first

A no-obligation conversation about your goals and current NDIS plan — or, if you're not a participant yet, we'll help you understand the access request process.

3

We match you with the right service

Supported Independent Living, Support Coordination, Plan Management, or a combination — based on what you actually need, not what's easiest for us to deliver.

4

We build your plan together

A written service agreement and support plan shaped around your goals, in plain language, not a generic template.

5

Meet your support team

Wherever possible, the same small group of familiar faces — not a rotating roster of strangers.

6

Start your supports

On a timeline that works for you, with a clear point of contact from day one.

7

Ongoing check-ins

Regular reviews so your support keeps up with your life, not the other way around.

Make a referral

Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, hospital discharge planners, allied health professionals and families are all welcome to refer someone into Quinbrace Care.

  • We'll acknowledge every referral within 2 business days.
  • We'll always confirm genuine choice with the participant before support begins — a referral is never an automatic sign-up.
  • You're welcome to stay involved in the handover for continuity of care.

Get in touch

Questions about our services, your NDIS plan, or whether we're a good fit — reach out however suits you.
